A user can use this recipe to set up a workflow to automatically update the deal room name with a prefix of one's choice as soon as an opportunity moves to a different stage.
To setup this workflow:
Go to Momentum web app. You can navigate to Momentum directly from your Slack workspace.
Next, click on "Library of Recipes" on the left
You will find a list of available recipes here. Select the recipe titled "Change Deal Room Name for POC stage"
Enter the details shown in the recipe.
A quick look at what the fields imply:
Field | Description |
Name | Name of the workflow |
Description | A brief description you can add about the workflow |
Add Stages | A multi select field where user can select the list of his / her preferred stage(s). |
Enter Prefix | A prefix which will be added with the deal room name, when the opportunity reaches one of the stages mentioned above |
Here is an example use case for how this recipe can be used to automatically update a deal room name with an added prefix.
Assume in our case we want to add a prefix to our deal room as:
ES - for all the deals in the early stages like Prospecting, Qualification, Needs Analysis
LS - for all the deals in the later stages like Proposal & Negotiation
Note that this is a recipe and multiple workflows can be created out of a single recipe. So the name and description here imply the name & description of the workflow you wish to create. Giving a workflow the right name and description will allow you to manage your workflows efficiently.
In this case, you can create two workflows with the required details. Let us create one with ES cases for our example, and the same can be applied to the LS stages as well.
Select the stages you wish to add to the workflow and add the prefix of your choice. In this case it'll be ES.
In our case, we have mentioned here that any opportunity which moves to either Prospecting, Qulification, Needs Analysis, Value Proposition & Id. Decision Makers stages should have the deal room named with the prefix ES.
Once, all your options are set, click on create recipe.
